To me, animators are like the people who put the marshmallows in Lucky Charms. Life would be terribly boring without them.

Hi there, Mr Dickman. My name is Jasmine Sawalmah and I enjoy your art work. :D

I am a still learning artist and an amateur animator. What tips do you have involving animation?

Thanks! Animation is a pretty grueling process depending what kind of animation you want to do, it takes dedication and a lot of consistency.
You should really look into examples of movement and do a lot of practice, then you can get into advanced stuff like acting and emotion. I suggest looking into getting the animators survival guide, it's a good start, it has a lot of information that I can't summarize.
It'll be good to brush up on your figure drawing especially in my opinion. Find your style, find what you are comfortable with and then animate. =) best of luck

Well, from what I've heard, stop-motion animation is considered the most difficult so I think I'll stray away from that a bit. I prefer traditional because it's funner to see drawings come to life than CG models. I have been trying to simulate a type of animation similar to cut-out, and since South Park uses computer animation nowadays, the possibilities are very high.
Hi~
Also, I have a Wacom Cintiq and I'm pretty overprotective of it (you know, high costs and all). What should I do if I want to travel with it without causing any damage?
