I loved this game. I was put off because there was no Dr. Light or Dr. Wily (seriously, why weren't they involved?) but i loved the characters and gameplay that this provided. It was just really fun when we get past our own religious fanboy fanaticism of how we think Mega Man ought to be. I still think Mega Man was at his best on the NES, but the Mega Man 64 did kick all kinds of ass.
And who could forget the Bonnes?
I did eventually find a copy of Legends 2, but i felt it wasn't as good. I didn't bother finishing it, since you had to wait for a load screen just to travel to a different area instead of just surfing everywhere with your hover shoes.
Even though i craved it and searched for years just to find it because of that cliff-hanger ending, i felt utterly let down. But to be fair i didn't really get that far due to the load screens and there not being a single large map to travel on, like in the first one, so i didn't give it the full chance it may have deserved.
Plus, again, it was a PS1 game, and i was used to my N64, and loading times were foreign to me, and i just couldn't tolerate them on a console system. Especially PS1 load times, even though i played Legends 2 on my PS2. Which i had bought during the middle of the 360's career (shows how up to date i am in gaming - i had a gamecube before that, though, and just bought a 360 two years ago).
Anyhoo, just reminiscing. Perhaps i should pop in Mega Man 64 and start it up again...

I really "dig" this... haha. It looks just like that part in the game, great work!
We all agree we want mml3. There are so many of us and it's finally starting too look promising. I've been reading and there's a whole lot pointing to it especially from this year at comic con.

>Inafune stated he wants to see the series back, he just waits for someone to throw money at him for that.
