... and I'm still scared by Gremlins! They're so amusingly bad!

I used to watch the Gremlins movie as a little kid, and the commercials, and read an illustrated book about the movie... that stuff scared the CRAP outta me. I would literally hide and/or freeze in fear when I saw some Gremlins 1 commercial play on tv, back then. I thought that one of them would spring out from behind me and attack.
And yet... I LOVED the movies a ton. Back then they were just scarey but so believable as a kid watching them. But when the second movie had came out, and I watched it in the theater by myself, I started to see that the movies had comedy to them. A loooot of comedy.
(I was SO proud of myself for having watched the entirety of Gremlins 2 on VHS with no one in the room with me! xD)
I still think of those films as some of the best ones I've ever seen in my life, now. Everytime I see the Amblin Entertainment logo of Elliot and E.T. on a bicycle, flying, I feel all warm and tingly cuz it reminds me of the Gremlins movies, since they had that Amblin symbol too.
And, wow, starting this year, I've been having dreams about gremlins appearing and doing random stuff. But they never seem to try and hurt anyone. I think one of them was trying to be heroic once, actually.
