To me... The Mario series needs more original characters... I think they've continued the many they already have and forget others (EHEM-captain Syrup etc) but yeah... more Mario characters that are like... not just Wa-somethings...

Only read 1 or 2 issues of the Archie Comics, speaking of games only.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but I seriously doubt that Archie comics can make Big the Cat, Cream the Rabbit,Marine (I'm guessing) the Racoon or Rouge the Bat awesome...

They did make Antoinne the stupid-nobody-likes, Sally the boneylegged thing, Some Walrus and... what the hell did they do to Robotnik? also numerous, very human-faced gorilla things...
I'm not arguing for Sega or against Archie... this is MARIO we're talking about
