I liked Quarantine, a lot actually. It remains one of my top zombie movies. I'm sure the Spanish version is really good too, but there isn't any reason to knock Quarantine just because it's a foreign remake.
Nope, done. No more. I mean, the picture is great as always but I can't stand Phelous. It's OK when he's watching a real armpit-stain of a movie and I watch it in short chunks, but Quarantine as a movie is just fine so he has to nitpick even tinier details to complain about. Maybe if he even had a single positive thing to say about any of these movies, then I'd listen to him seriously, but no.
Oh, Quarantine. What is it with America's obsession of remaking movies that were perfectly fine to begin with, and then managing to just completely screwing it up. Honestly, I love REC. Quarantine was just a colossal mess.
That's a fantastic picture, I love the way you played with the word Quarantine, and the details are just fantastic.
Watching the review just now. I have to say, I got it a while ago and watched it. I didn't know what to think of it. I'd seen REC and I thought I'd kinda just sat through the same thing.
Also, there was a lot of complaints about this movie being too dark. You can hardly see what's going on a lot. As well as that, I don't like that it never really explained what the fuck was going on. Rabies is scary, but no realistic rabies is that virulent and fast acting. inb4 derp terrorists dump super rabies into the water tower.
