Hey hey, contest time!


Apparently Mary Ann is going to a local convention in town, but she's rather interested in the concept of 'cosplay'. She has little knowledge of pop culture in video games, anime and tv shows, so now she's been asking for help on who to go as.

It's up to you to decide what Mary Ann Tigress will cosplay as for the convention!

Cosplay (コスプレ, kosupure), short for "costume play", is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly, Japanese live action television shows, fantasy movies, Japanese pop music bands, Visual Kei, fantasy music stories (such as stories by the band Sound Horizon), and novels. However, in some circles, "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume (so it is not limited to japanese culture.)

RULES:
-Pictures must be of Mary Ann in a costume portraying another character. Hence Cosplay

-Cosplay option include any character from a video game, anime tv show, or a show on tv. Heck, if you have a character, you can also have her cosplay as them.

-Cosplay ideas are not limited to just female roles, you can make a female cosplay version of a male character. Just remember that Mary Ann is a girl.

-Inclusion of other characters in the image is prohibited. You can include a mascotish type character if it fits in with the cosplay.

-Artists who join must also provide name of character cosplay being portrayed and the series its from.

-Don't be afraid to change Mary's hair to fit the character, it doesn't have to be a blonde, just don't forget about the stripe. (Hint: The stripe turns white when she bleaches it black)

-Image does not have to be in color, but its encouraged.

-You can submit as many entries as you wish, but it might not increase your chances of winning a prize.

-Nude is not a costume! Please refrain from pornographic imagery or pornographic character portrayal. And keep away from swearing as well.

-Any disturbing images submitted or violations of the above rules will be declined at artists expense.

I always enjoy seeing as many different takes on Mary from different artists. But just some notes, please keep to her characteristics; such as the stripe on her hair, her cheek fluff, stripe and fur patterns and often noticeable 'snaggletooth' when she smiles. Other than that, have fun!
