Crap on YouTube
Journal Entry: Tue Jul 1, 2008, 11:58 PM
I uploaded some stuff on Youtube. I think I'll be posting some exclusive stuff here when I can get to it, just because they don't seem to worry about when I use music and stuff like how DA does... ANyhow... if you're curious about what I have there, go look (not a whole lot there you probably haven't seen yet)
Here's a video testing out recording my digital drawings: [link]

Have you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour to take you to heaven when you die? If not go here -->[link] Check out my gallery NOW lol but rly:[link]
This is really wishful thinking, but will you ever be putting your animation of Every RPG Ever Made back up anywhere? I havent seen it in years and I absolutely loved it.
O.=.o wait... only 4 comments? (before mine that is) uh, something's wrong here. usually when you put up a journal, it's flooded with messages, something's wrong here.
oh, and i looked at your work on youtube, very nice. which program do you use? Flash?
I think YouTube is a bit more responsible when it comes to policing copyright violation, that is to say when the copyright holder contacts them and reports content they pull it. They don't constantly patrol their own content looking for potential copyright violators.
I mean, if I had permission to use copyrighted material in a work I uploaded here, who at dA would follow up if it were reported as a violation by any asshat with a bone to pick? I'm thinking that it would just get pulled and I'd have to go into some form of begging process to get it back.
I mean, YouTube is full of copyright violation there's no doubt there but it's up to the owners of said copyrights to follow up with and report violators (which they should be doing anyway, if their copyright is so valuable).
I won't even get started with fair use. I mean if I use less than a minutes worth of music on an animation that makes zero revenue for me then...? Actually I think I just figured out why dA is so nuts about copyright, they make money off our backs so if we violate copyright and they make money off of it they are liable not us... interesting...
I might be completely wrong about that last bit, morning logic still fuzzy from Canada Day...
